Don’t Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all money, credit cards and cheques at home. Take only the cash you anticipate to spend on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to lose and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success after a intoxicated night out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that story considering that it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is compulsory. If you play to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to burn your assets without a worry, then consume all the no charge beer you can handle, but don’t carry credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your dead drunk brain throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop online to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condo, however considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to blur my judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and costly, drink.
